LAS Ketchup earned their success on their merit and talent, so your analogy isn't valid in this case. And if I was bashing, it was just my way of telling you not to trash my songs. I've seen too often people having their tastes bashed, and your post reminded me of all the bad things they've said here - You were talking so thoughtlessly and that gets on my nerves. You didn't have to say anything mean.

Well, it comes down to quality-- not the people associated with it.. IMO. And if
Ketchup made it big from 'scratch'.. so? Yea, it's remarkable, but that doesn't mean it's great! Hm? And the the thing about commercial music is that you don't have to be well know or a big artist to make a lot of money and sell a lot of singles-- you just need a big ass record label and the biggest
PR campaign. That's what gets me. The thing about discussions on taste (eg. in music and film)-- is that they all just die out-- and someone is left
crying.. Calling the other person mean and such

You think I'm trashing you cos I'm trashing the song-- that's the thing about taste-- I'm not trashing the song and the awesome memories you attach to it. No matter how many good things you can say about the song, I don't like it-- I hate it. And that's my opinion, not necessarily a fact.. Here is where the discussion dies out..
