Whatever, VolcomMartin - If it's so crappy, why was it one of the best selling singles of the 2000s? And you're also passing your opinion off as fact, but it's just your opinion. This song's more entertaining than alot of the crap coming out these days - But of course that won't stop you from attacking it. Your attack against The Ketchup song is unwarranted.

I deleted the mean things in my post because it was out of line on my behalf to say that. Sorry, I'm just in a grouchy mood and your words indirectly struck a nerve I guess.

^ Yay, this is fun. First, a single sold thousands of times doesn't make it great. E.g. Millions people loved Transformers 2, but it doesn't make it one of the best films of all time. I find commercially 'stuff' lack some great quality-- especially in films.. Secondly, O-K maybe I'm stating my opinions as "facts", but you're doing the same thing, bashing me for hating the Ketchup Song.. I know that judging someones taste in music, is like judging the person-- and you're not cool with that And, I'm not whining-- I'm just pointing out my honest opinion-- like you also love-- pointing out your own opinions. You don't have to agree with me, obviously

I agree with Volcom and I hated the ketchup song. And the ketchup dance.

I generally don't like the summer songs, the extremely popular songs that are played in every club all summer. The only one I remember liking is Hej Hej Monika, which I only liked because it was funny.

Hmm... Actually, their single sold millions of times over, not just thousands Just thought I'd be persnickety and correct that statistic. Selling millions of singles when you were previously an unknown artist is remarkable. Transformers was so profitable because it was riding all the publicity it had due to the sheer popularity the series had beforehand combined with the starpower Shia Labeouf and Michael Bay brought to it. LAS Ketchup earned their success on their merit and talent, so your analogy isn't valid in this case. And if I was bashing, it was just my way of telling you not to trash my songs. I've seen too often people having their tastes bashed, and your post reminded me of all the bad things they've said here - You were talking so thoughtlessly and that gets on my nerves. You didn't have to say anything mean.

Today my family went out to celebrate my brother getting in to law school. I wonder who can eat the whole Legendary hamburger from Hardrock Café.

Well, it comes down to quality-- not the people associated with it.. IMO. And if Ketchup made it big from 'scratch'.. so? Yea, it's remarkable, but that doesn't mean it's great! Hm? And the the thing about commercial music is that you don't have to be well know or a big artist to make a lot of money and sell a lot of singles-- you just need a big ass record label and the biggest PR campaign. That's what gets me. The thing about discussions on taste (eg. in music and film)-- is that they all just die out-- and someone is left crying.. Calling the other person mean and such You think I'm trashing you cos I'm trashing the song-- that's the thing about taste-- I'm not trashing the song and the awesome memories you attach to it. No matter how many good things you can say about the song, I don't like it-- I hate it. And that's my opinion, not necessarily a fact.. Here is where the discussion dies out..
