That story made major headlines back in the day.

The UFOs over Washington D. C. were observed by many who were of high caliber, including Air Force personnel, and radar observers. The UFOs happened twice in within a week and were clocked by radar at speeds in excess of 7000 mph.
F-94s were scrambled to confront them. As soon as they approached the UFOs, they vanished off of the radar. Once the F-94s landed, the UFO blips returned on radar.

This is that famous video footage of around 11 UFOs flying by the White House back in 1952. Like something out of a movie. What they were is still unknown to this day.

What possibly fills in a big chunk of the puzzle about how the human race came about and how civilisation started can be found in the excellent work of Zecharia sitchin. A lot of people who are interested in ufology are all too familiar with the books by Erich Von Daniken but many are still totally unfamiliar with the work of Zecharia Sitchin in the form of his excellent series of books titled "The Earth Chronicles".

What sets Zecharia Sitchin apart from others who have written books on similar topics is his academic background and the amount of research he did ( 30 years ) before he published his first book, "The 12th Planet", back in 1976. Born in Russia and raised in Palestine, Zecharia Sitchin acquired a profound knowledge of modern and ancient Hebrew, the old testament, other Semitic and european languages, the history and archaeology of the near east and is one of the few scholars today able to read and understand Sumerian.

CRADLE OF CIVILISATION

Using the archaeological findings in the form of drawings, texts and atifacts left by the ancient people who once occupied Mesopotamia, the "cradle" of civilisation, Sitchin has found evidence which suggests that what we now regard as "myths" may have actually happened just as the ancient people of Mesopotamia believed and that the "gods" who were worshipped by the ancient people were indeed real and had a hand in us being who we are today.

For the most part, it has always been the many credible witnesses out there that make me a believer in aliens visiting out planet. And none can be better than the late Colonel Philip J. Corso's testimony they do in fact exist. It's been confirmed that Corso was a Battalion Commander of European Air Defence, Chief of Foreign Technology Division of the United States Department of Defence, Staff Officer in the Plans Division and OCRD in Washington DC, Fort Riley to name a few of his positions.

At the time of this interview, he was 82 years old and it just doesn't seem feasible, that a man near the end of his life, would care to go out with a lie. He said the only reason he came out with this info is because of his oath to his commanding Officer Trudeau who said he could once he had died.

Here are some of his claims:

He saw briefly 1 of 5 alien bodies in about 15 seconds, floating in a liquid, under a tarp, in a coffin like container, at Fort Riley, Kansas.

He later, as an intelligence officer, received an autopsy report of these beings. They barely had a mouth, had a 3rd eyelid he says had something do to with night vision, no digestive system, and tiny ears. The scientists at the time believed they were genetically created to be part of the saucer and specifically for space travel. Like the guidance system.

He says he was handed a cabinet of 'junk' as his commander called it, where things like today's microchip evolved from, metal that couldn't be penetrated, string like material that couldn't be cut but the atoms were in alignment as he calls it to give it strength. His job was to give money to certain company's that could do reverse technology on them and allowed any succes of theirs to be patented.

There are 12 parts to this video where he's talking and he sounds very sane with nothing to hide. The reason he says he came out with the book was because he has 3 grandchildren who one day asked him what he did when he was in the army. Realizing he had nothing about his life while he was there to give them, he wanted to leave this as his legacy so they had something to remember him by. I can't see first off an 82 year old who no doubt has a fat pension even care about any money a book make for himself. And if he wanted it for his family, then we have to wonder why a former Colonial, would make himself out to be a loonie to his family or to the world and putting a black mark on his grand children or family members. It just doesn't add up and I don't buy it. I've personally concluded that what he says is very true here. He sounds very genuine and still had his wits with him even as an 82 year old. Granted, he has mixed some facts up now and then but you have to realize he was going straight 17 hours with these interviews at the time so taking in consideration about his age, that no doubt can happen even with the youngest of folks.

I think if anyone has the time and enjoy info on UFOs and such, they should give this 12 part video a listen.

i had a near death experience, NDE, if that counts as paranormal

and i believe in the possibility of paranormal things exsting and i'd love for there to be ghosts and life after death

maybe i'll one day meet my dead cat and dog in heaven if its true.

I have also had a near death experince after surgery but I'm not sure that counts as paranormal....

I think it was a good experince to have (looking back on it) only because I use to be so afraid of death/dying but I'm not anymore. I remember exactaly what it felt like (the whole world stopped and all of a sudden that was it, I saw nothing, felt nothing, and heard nothing). Right before that the machines (which I now know as vital sign monitors were going crazy. (they were making the noises that you hear or a show like House when the patient is crashing) I remember a nurse (or nurses ran to my bedside, I felt soooo awful and I could hear at that point and then everything stopped. I'm not sure if I just lost consciousness or if I really was dead or almost dead. It was a private surgical clinic I was at (yes canada does have private clinics even with public health care), and they told my mom very little. It was suppose to be day surgery (dental surgery) but I left very late right before the clinic closed. I was hypoglycemic according to the little info they gave my mom and they had to give to glucose iv to wake me up. I do believe that but there may have been more to it then just that. They made my mom wait for many more hours then expected telling her nothing.

I think I was 16 when it happened. I think Tyler knows.

I didn't see any light, it was just darkness, but I felt no pain or illness ( I felt super awful in a sick way right before everything stopped and went dark). I didn't feel, see or hear anything once that happened.
