Video games thread
I searched the forums and was surprised to find that there hadn't been a thread on this topic created yet. Anyway, you can discuss your favorite video games here. What you're currently playing, which games you're anticipating most, etc.
I'm currently playing Assassin's Creed II. And I can't stop playing. It's like the controller is super-glued to my hands. MuST... kIlL..teMPlaRS!! This game is a huge improvement from Assassin's Creed which, imo, just had bad storytelling. The graphics were beautiful, but the game itself just wasn't that fun. Assassin's Creed II is a different story. No more annoying crayzies that knock you over, no more poor women begging you for money (I admit, I shoved my hidden blade up a few of their asses), no more saving citizens that didn't deserve to be saved becaus they were thieves. This game has so much more to offer besides the graphics: more weapons, really exciting side missions, and a much better story.

I read a couple of reviews on Assassin's Creed II before I picked up a 360 copy for my son. Most of the reviews say that "II" is everything that "I" promised and more.
I just finished Star Wars: the Force Unleashed for the PC. It only took a year for Lucas Arts to release the PC version.
And I still want to know where the hell is HL2: Episode 3!?

What's HL2?
Did you like the Star Wars? I thought it was fun but I wouldn't buy it.
I just returned MW2 to Blockbuster. Meh~ Too much hype. It's feels like a map pack upgrade to me. Not worth $60 imo. I'll wait for a good sale before I get it.

HL2 = Half-Life 2
I liked Star Wars but it was too much a console-port.
Too many key combinations to make things work.
I've been watching my son play the 360 MW2.
I think the graphics are better but I wish they had added more content to SP side.
MP maps are too much run-n-gun with no team tactics.
I'll get it for the PC within the next couple of weeks and see how good the graphics really are (Dual 8800 GT SLI).
I'm thinking of dropping the cash for a pair of XT260s core 216 (SLI).
Xmas present for myself.

This is our first video game thread, but video games have been discussed in other more specific threads...
I recently bought the new Super Mario Wii game, for Tyler and I to play. I love it!! It's better then Mario 1, 2, 3, paper mario, and mario galaxy imo.
We are in the 4th world right now, but there are lots of levels we skipped. It's quite difficult. I like how you can carry your partner though, and do special moves together.

Can you play that online Shoey?
Waaah! Mac has a gaming computer! I never would have guessed!
I finished the SP mode of MW2 in one evening. That's why I wouldn't pay the full $60 for it. It would be like buying half a game.

20 hours of content in SP just sucks.
Where's the old days of 100+ hours of content.
Have you tried Dragon Age yet?
My son's getting it for me for Xmas.
I'm strictly PC, don't have the hormels for console pads.
