The level of ignorance of people my age. At least in college. I'm in a class of students who until a week ago had no idea what the civil rights movement in the United States was about.

Yeah but I learned about the civil rights movement when I was in grade 3. And in any case its not just that. There are people in my school who have no idea what the SS were, who are unsure if "fascism" is good or bad, and who from what I understood thought Jack the Ripper was a fictional character.
