Not as far as I know. It's more of just a nickname. I mean hell, Vancouver's hockey team is named The Canucks.

Come to think of it I can't think of any harsh derogatory terms towards Canadians in general. THere are the derogatory stereotypes like "Eh" and "Aboot" but I can play into those for fun.

Anyways, a lot of the slang I know comes from product names becoming synonymous with what they're selling. Such as:

Kraft Dinner or "KD" - Macaroni and Cheese.
Pogo - Corndog
Timbits - Mini doughnuts

For some reason the only ones I can thing of have to do with food.

I wasn't aware that 'Eh' was considered derogatory. Years back I would banter with a few of my coworkers from the Great White North in our 'best' Bob and Doug impersonations.

I'm not sure if these are actually slang. Ya'll and J'eat are just contractions I hear even in the UK. Reckon, yonder, hankering and thick are all common words (yonder is a bit archaic however).

Eh would be considered derogatory if you used it to look down on people aka something i would never do!
