Anyway I hope I got some sort of vitamins from that thing becuz I had to eat most of it. Pigsnoot looked at my toffu and told me not to feed it to the animuls.

I dunno. It looked kinda appetizing like a nutritious pillow as it lay in its watery container. I thought it might taste good wid soy & other Oriental ingredients. It didnt.

So do you know how to fry tofu? How come Buddhist monks can make it taste like any meat in existence? I would be a monk except I like sausages too much & I keep falling over when I sit in the lotus position.

Tofu's dead easy to fry. Marinate it in soy or tamari first.

Sounds like you're top heavy in the lotus position. Lotus position? Really? With the soles of your feet pointing to the sky and your ankles on the opposite thigh? Hard for me to see a sausage doing this... (you are what you eat, remember...)

Hurmmm, didnt marinate it. Just swirled it about a little in soy & stuff. Anyway it didnt crisp like fried is supposed to. CRISP! PLite commands the tofu sludge.

Ps. Yes, THAT Lotus Position! Wid the toes pointing to the East toward Mecca or something. I usually tip over though. Pigsnoot can sit cross-legged for hrs (probably bercuz of his Japanese leanings) but then, thats probably not the lotus position.

Hmm. How to crisp your tofu.

Experiment with different oils, or different degrees of heat. Try drying off excess moisture before putting the tofu squares into the pan.

I use a scanpan with just a drop of virgin olive oil. But that might not give the right degree of oleaginous satisfaction for our little Buddha-in-the-making.
