Non spoiler, but these are the questions that are answered in Battlestar Galactica : The Plan

Other questions are answered as well. Granted, the movie doesn't have a "flow" to it, its a very different feel from the regular feel of the show. Things move very quickly, and the story does jump quite a bit. But, the movie is intended to fill the gaps so to speak
