Favorite Animations

What were your favorite cartoons when you were a kid? Or even if you still watch them? lmao

I'd say Dexters Lab and Courage The Cowardly Dog were my favs and Courage still makes me lmao to this day. Those cartoons were the greatest, imo the stuff theyve got on Cartoon Network and Nickolodean now are garbage.

This is tough because I used to watch a shitload of cartoons... and still do...

Probably my first favourite cartoon was The Magic School Bus. I also enjoyed shows like The Rugrats, Doug, and Recess. I haven't seen The Magic School Bus, Doug, or Rugrats in ages, but I still catch, and for the most part enjoy Recess every now and then.

Another big part of my youth was the anime craze I had for a little over ten years. The line of shows went like this for me: Sailor Moon, Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Pokemon, Digimon, Gundam Wing, Beyblade, and finally Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm sure I left one out somewhere but thats what I remember. I should note that I don't really care for anime that much now.

With superheroes I really liked The Spiderman and Batman Animated series' of the 90's. I still find them ok to watch and the new shows Batman: The Brave and the Bold and The Spectacular Spiderman look good from the few episodes I've seen. Now more than ever though I've been watching the Super Friends more and more.

Finally for more "adult" shows I guess South Park, Family Guy, and The Simpsons. Still watch and enjoy them, although I had a falling out with Family Guy.

For now thats what I got. I'll post more if more come to mind.

But they lived in a tree. How cool is that?

Living in a tree is a standard of coolness?

Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy and Two Stupid Dogs are just a couple that I remember loving when I was a kid.

I'm sure some more will pop into my head later. I stil watch the odd Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry or Ren & Stimpy episode if it's on (which is rarely ever the case these days), but most of the other shows either grown out of or aren't on anymore. If Thundercats was still on I'd definitely still watch it, it was fantastic.

The only cartoons I watch now on a regular basis are South Park and maybe The Simpsons if it's an older episode. Like BOB my liking of Family Guy has dropped over the past couple of seasons so much so that I barely if ever watch it anymore.

It is for me because I have never lived inside of one. I have been in a treehouse and that was pretty cool.

But, it's a tree. How could anyone outside a cartoon conceivably live inside one. And why would anyone want to. Chances are they have to pay a lot of insurance when it comes to fire safety.

I knew I'd forget something too, but how could I forget those: Pinky and The Brain is probably my all time favourite kids cartoon.

Oh the shame.....
