haha --- Hodor did pop up rather suddenly! Bit of a shock that one.
Its really amazing how much of the book they managed to put on the screen. I think that audience that Khal had with the pissed-off warrior . . . might not have been from the book . . . but it was oh-so-entertaining. I saw that part 6 times already. The highlight of this last episode. I hope Ser Barristan gets back at Cersei and Joffrey. I'm surprised he has kept Robert Baretheon alive for that long since he is married to that harpy.

In the book, Drogo's injury wuz acquired in a much more low key way. For once, I am glad HBO decided to highlight Drogo's Mighty Ways in sech an exciting scene! And goodness, did you notice that the Khal's picnic area wuz festooned wid human organs hanging from above? Like .. here, tongue, I tosseth you on this pile so my cook can make me a good stew for dinnur.
God, I really REALLY hate Littlefingur now, especially after he made fun of Ser Barristan. I keep scouring the books for his death but I cant find anything. (Im only reading the first book now, but I am very good at finding certain incidents, yarrrr.) Oh & Catelyns nephoo trying to get his meal is one sick puppy. Of course, his crazy mum made him that way. I wasnt too impressed by the zombie though.

I've peeked ahead in the books a little bit and wish I hadn't. I really don't want to know what's happening so I'm putting them away!
Littlefinger did turn out to be an ass but I like the actor Aidan Gillen so I don't want his character to die. I can't remember her name but that prisoner at Winterfell reminds me a bit of Helena Bonham Carter. I like the scenes at Winterfell. It's beautiful there!

I dont see how I can not read the books while witing for the 2nd season. So by the time GAME OF THRONES 2012 rolls around, I expect I will know everything. Waaaahhhh!

I imagine Littlefinger will feel it the most when Lady Catelyn finds out his role in imprisoning her husband. Maybe he did it so he could have a chance with her. Or maybe he thought it would save Sansa's life. He's a pretty complicated fellow so I hope he hangs out a little long. Him and the eunuch. I am halfway through the second book and they're still alive.

Goddammmit, Littlefingur is still alive in the 2nd book? [PLite thwows up.] Im not crazy about Catelyn either, particularly in the way she treats Jon Snow. (And she behaved worse in the book.) BAHHH!

 That wuz the saddest, most well-made GOT ep yet. Brilliantly done a la Braveheart.  PS. Filming will start on the 2nd season in July.
