MASSIVELY looking forward to this. There is an in-development movie on his IMDB page entitled "The Angel, The Bad And The Wise". Possible title for this?

That was an old rumoured title for his next film. I'm sure Thurman is correct, hope she is because I prefer it to that other one.

Apparently this is the plot/and some information for the new film:

Django is a freed slave, who, under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter (played by Christopher Waltz the evil Nazi officer in Inglorious Basterds) becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself, and after assisting Waltz in taking down some bad guys for profit, is helped by Waltz in tracking down his slave wife and liberating her from an evil plantation owner. And that doesn’t even half begin to cover it! This film deals with racism as I’ve rarely seen it handled in a Hollywood film. While it’s 100 percent pure popcorn and revenge flick, it is pure genius in the way it takes on the evil slave owning south. Think of what he did with the Nazis in Inglorious and you’ll get a sense of what he’s doing with slave owners and slave overseers in this one.”

This movie sounds sweet. And I loooooooved Christopher Waltz as the bad guy in 'Inglorious Basterds'. I loved him in The Green Hornet as well. Again, bad guy. So it will be interesting to see how he plays a good guy for me.

Christoph Waltz is incredible as the crazy August in Water for Elephants too. A very intense actor with huge presence.

Sounds intriguing. Tarantino always makes entertaining films. I wonder who's going to be in it...

P.S. And then, of course, there's the inevitable follow-up questions: I wonder what he's going to use for the score, and when the soundtrack disc's coming out!

Always puts together a great soundtrack, so don't have to worry on that front.

Water for Elephants is a terrific movie. It's a great adaptation of the book by Sara Gruen, well structured and acted generally, but the elephant is a standout - not just literally.

The book's well-researched about the early 30s in America and the movie gives a convincing picture of travelling circuses, Prohibition, and things like Jake leg. This irreversible paralysis caused by drinking Jamaica ginger extract - or Jake - affected 100,000 Americans in 1930 - 1931.
