Total Recall

Colin Farrell was locked in for the contemporary remake in the lead role of Doug Quaid a while ago, a character originally portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 90′s film. The excellent Bryan Cranston joined as the villain recently and his casting seems genius, granted.

Jessica Biel is taking the Sharon Stone character this time around.

Hmm.. not sure how I feel about this one. As much as I love the original, if they decide to go down the route of making it more along the lines of Philip K. Dick's We Can Remember it For You Wholesale I might be interested in seeing it.

If it's just a straight remake, then no it's a complete waste of time.

Was a massive fan of the original so this could go either way.

Love the original and Bryan Cranston is a fine actor but I don't care for Biel as an actress. Colin Farrell usually entertains me though. Can't see it being as well realized as the original but I hope they can prove me wrong.
