I don't think so that there is any such movie.
OR going to be in cinemas.
I google this out but I didn't find anything as such.

Also I am not crazy about people making a movie about KUNG FU and calling it the KARATE KID!

Two different martial arts.

Ok, maybe most people won't care and wont even know the difference. if they are like most people i hear when they think of ma 'its all kung fu'

Oh btw I'm a yellow belt in Shotokan karate.

Oh Man, i havent been around here in ages....I forgot about this forum for a long time!

but still. the 80's karate kid is a freakin classic. why'd they even have to touch it.......

also agree about the kiddie part.

Probably a movie that shouldn't be remade, but also probably the two best choices for the leads.

I saw this one today, and I think it was really good! They didn't copy the original, it was another karate kid. Jackie Chan was really loveable and the kid wasn't bad! It was really violent! Those kids weren't your average bullies.
Alot of 12 year olds in the audience, and this remake will let kids who don't have nerdy older brothers find out about this lovely series of movies too.
