Talking Spoiler Tag Added!

You guys are going to love me for this one:

I just added a spoiler tag feature to the forum which you can now start using in your posts!

The tag will hide anything you put into it which can easily be seen by clicking on a button located above the spoiler text.

Here it is in action below:

Spoiler
Ta da! Ain't this awesome?

To use it, simply use the [spoiler] BBCODE tag. For example, for the above I used:

(spoiler)Ta da! Ain't this awesome? (/spoiler)

(Replace the brackets with square brackets, of course)

Enjoy!

Yay! That's one of my requests I asked about adding to the forum. Thanks Tyler.

This is great! Now it means that if anyone is talking about a movie and someone hasn't seen it,it won't spoil it for them.

Im just curious but is there any way to tweak that program so that you could insert the name of the actual movie or topic into that spoiler tag?

Some spoiler tags on other forums will actually say "Spoiler for the movie ...." then it will say the actual movie or topic of which is being spoiled at the time. These tags only say 'spoiler'. So I was wondering if the program can be tweaked a bit to say that.

Ah, unfortunately not. But I don't think this is really an issue since you can simply write what the spoiler is for and it is usually understood from the context of the post anyway :-)

Yeah I say this though cause there are times when a different movie that is spoiled is referenced to the main one in a certain thread yet people will think it's talking about the film that the thread is talking about, peek in since they saw that particular one, yet have a completely different film spoiled for them.

Oh I know but not everyone will do this and this other way automatically takes care of all the worries there.

No biggie anyways if there's nothing you can do about it.
