Which layout do you prefer?

It needs a little more work, but I like the way the featured reviews are, with the circular sub-pics. On the other hand, the news in the center formatted like that looks pretty unappealing. It'd work better if we had more movie (film) news getting written. Also, if the news is gonna go in the middle then I strongly reccommend we start including pictures in with the news, with the leading (i.e. newest) headline having a small pic appearing next to it.

Also, there WILL be more news, because I will be adding news every time NTF is added (twice a week) and for all new articles, and new in theatre reviews. (I'd appreciate it if you could help do this Greg! I'll add the picture afterwards)

Yes, the pictures are very nice....is there any way to streamline the adding of pictures, so we don't have to wait for you to add it? Cause that would speed up the process a lot, methinks.

It took a while, but I'm startin to like the new look...not a huge overhaul like the last redesign, just some house cleaning, really.

There is too much white text! The News column should be a different colour than the reviews. Easier to read that way. And it is better wid pics in the news text.

Yeah, it will grow on you, and after a while, if you saw the old layout again, you'd go "Ewwwww"..

The thing is, I really think that this is about the best layout you can do for repeat visitors.. it's just a very effective tool to make people check back for new updates.

Greg, I don't know what you mean by 'streamlined' so much.. you can add news whenever, but I'll have to add the pictures by modifying the news afterwards.

Now, of course other staff could add the pictures, but it would require a bit of work; they'd need Photoshop (or any basic image editor), and would have to add the img code to the news, and then I'd have to create a script for staff to upload images..

That's what I mean, it'd be a lot more convient and effiecient if we could add the pictures ourselves.

Do you have a basic image editing program Greg? If so, then I can program a script to let you upload it.. and show the special img html text that is needed..
