Unsolved Movie about a biohazard lab

I wonder whether anyone can put a name to this movie for me. This movie has to be over 20 years old judging by when I last saw it.

The plot's main characters are a County Sheriff and his wife who is a security officer at a biological research lab which unbeknowned to many is run by the Government for developing germ warfare weapons.

Whilst a team of research scientists are working in the level 4 lab a vial is broken and a bio-agent gets released.

Biosensors detect the release and the sheriffs wife (the security officer) instigates a total lockdown.

Her written orders in the safe describe how to activate "Protocol One" , a government scheme designed to handle such a situation.

A government containment goon squad is despatched to cordon the area whilst maintaining a bogus cover story.

Meanwhile, many of the lab staff who were not working in the lab and thus were not exposed to the bio-agent try to force the security officer to rescind the lockdown to allow them to leave but it becomes known that the bio-agent has escaped from the lab and into the air conditioning.

The bio-agent causes people to act violently and attack people ( a bit like Resident Evil) but surprisingly the sheriff's wife is not affected.

We later learn this is due to her being pregnant and her upsurge in hormones protecting her. A cure is created and all those not dead yet live happily ever after .

A bit cheesey but still a laugh.

Could it be Romero's The Crazies you are looking for? They made a remake for release in 2010 of this one.

I remember the Crazies but it wasn't that.

The bio-agent never got the chance to leave the building and was trapped in the lab complex along with the lab staff, both the safe ones and the infected ones.

The movie is call Warning Sign made in 1985 and starring Sam Waterson and Kathleen Quinlan
