This film is a parody of "The Godfather". Jay Mohr plays Anthony Cortino, who runs a casino which is falling appart because of his brother's drug problems. A piece of the story is the same as in The Godfather, like his father (played by Lloyd Bridges here) dying while having his grand son around, etc.
I wont bother telling the plot of this film, it's just too dumb and worthless. The film is full of bad jokes, just like in those 'Naked Gun' films. That truly sucks, like a joke every two seconds, but maybe one out of one hundred might actually be funny. I'd rather watch a comedy with less funny scenes, but better ones.
This got so exaggerated that it even had some scenes from other films such as "Forrest Gump". I just cannot believe the people who made this film thought someone would actually laugh at those jokes. I personally watched it until the end just to see the poor attemps to make people laugh.
They just tried to make everything gross, and they wanted to put so many jokes in it, that over half of them were actually things that would never, and I mean never happen in real life. And I don't mean things that very rarely happen, I mean stuff like throwing a dog against a wall and it breaking like it was made of crystal.
This kind of film is really not entertaining. Some people may find it fun to watch, but it's definitely not my kind of film. I wouldn't watch it a second time if I had a gun pointing at me. If you're a true movie fan, try to avoid this.
