Stripes is another better film of Murray's with bizzare characters, humorous dialogue and a comedic but adventurous plot. A classic in comedy that should not be missed. Stripes is the film you can repeatedly watch on TV and probably have. Mixed in with the classic style of comedy are the influences of the risk taking 70's. Offering us more a raunchy side along the classic American style we can't help but enjoy. The best military comedy to date.
Stripes is the story of a lazy loser (Bill Murray) who after losing his job, car, apartment, and girlfriend decides to join the army with his best friend (Harold Ramis).
This film is almost immaculate but a small hole I noticed was never filled in(Ramis' basic english class). Along with being a little hollywoodized (Bill Murray's amount of pushups easily increases). But not many negatives can be exclaimed for this brilliant must see comedy. A fun film with a string of star comedians and a string of funny but also adventurous situations.
