Somewhere, Michael Ende is rolling in his grave.
This movie has removed any ind of magic the original movie had, has no plot whatsoever, and the effects are matched only by Plan 9 From Outer Space.
In this travesty of celluloid, Bastian (played by that trewp from Free Willy) has moved into a new house with a new mom and a new sister. We get After-School special type "your step-siblings and you" sentimality.
Then we get to Fantasia. Falcor the luckdragon has been reduced to a sniviling wimp, the Rock Biter is an Irish biker, and we get no sign of Atreyu.
Then we leave Fantasia (for reasons unbeknowest to us), and the film drags on for a painstaking hour-and-a-half. There is not a single redeeming value about this movie.
If you see a copy of this movie, BURN IT!!!!
