Foley met some rich guy in prison, who said he had some diamonds in his house in Detroit. Foley and his friend Buddy are planning to go to that place, but some other people like Snoopy Miller (Don Cheadle) want to make that robbery too.
Karen has chances to arrest Foley, but she doesn't, as a matter of fact, she spends some time with him. In the mean time, Foley talks to Snoopy to plan what they'll do the night of the robbery. Foley and Buddy have to be prepared because they aren't sure if they can trust Snoopy.
Samuel L. Jackson appears nearly at the end of the film, and the few seconds he is on screen are some of the best in the film. The film itself isn't bad, but at some points is quite boring I'd say. The Karen-Foley relationship is quite interesting, and Don Cheadle was excellent as Snoopy. Can't forget to give some credit to Ving Rhames, who was pretty good in here.
Some people think of 'J. Lo' as an untalented actress, but I think she can pull off some roles at least, like this for example, she was quite nice in here. It's also nice to see Clooney in film without Mark Walhberg [laughs]. I wouldn't really recommend it, but I admit the film is watchable, and many people liked it, so maybe you should give it a try.
