I don't want to spend much time reviewing this film, so excuse me if it's a bit quick.
I don't want to assume you saw part 1, so let me introduce the characters right now: Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt), Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr.), Karla (Brandy Norwood), Tyrell (Mekhi Phifer) and Will Benson (Matthew Settle).
Julie and Karla are best friends, and Karla receives a phone call from a radio station one day, they are asked what the capital of Brazil is, she answers Rio De Janeiro -Sounds strange from the beggining- and she wins a trip to the Bahamas with 3 other people. She goes with Julie, her boyfriend Tyrell and to fill the last spot she brings Will Benson, who apparently likes Julie.
They arrive to the island and strange stuff starts happening immediately, like the words "I still know" appearing in a kareoke screen. Julie frieks out but nobody believes her, since none of the present people were with her before (in part 1). By this time, it's storm season so everybody leaves the island, and only they are there. Ray, who is in his town, finds out the fisherman will go after Julie -he attacked him- so he takes a boat and goes to those islands.
I'm not making this any longer. This film was much worse than the first part, which was no masterpiece either. The story is even worse and much less believable, acting never mattered in this type of films, you know what to expect. This film doesn't even have shocking scenes as part 1 did, and the ridiculous things happening here kept me pissed off the whole film. If you think Jennifer Lopez has a big butt, check out Brandy in this film. I must say I'd only recommend this film if you're male, because Jennifer Love Hewitt is actually seen in a bikini for a second in here, that was the highlight of this film, the only couple of seconds worth watching. Try to avoid.
