Some movie fans (most?) only watch films that were once in theaters or at least in video stores, TV movies like this one were made for a very small audience. For some reason I was able to catch it up on a movie channel and since there was nothing better to do, I watched it. I don't know if there's a point to reading this review because chances are you'll never see this film.
Caleb Barnes (Stephen Baldwin) is a father whose son died 5 weeks ago, his wife is very depressed and apparently so is he, but he doesn't show it much. The fact that they lost their son doesn't really have much to do with the rest of the movie, I don't know why they even bother with it.
Some murders are being commited in the city, the victims are all hit in the back of their heads with a hammer, and their houses are always cleaned up. A bus driver was able to give a description of a possible suspect, and after some investigation Caleb is able to get an idea of who the killer might be, and why he's doing this.
I didn't know this was a TV film until a few moments ago, so most people probably have not seen it, and wont either. Stephen Baldwin looks so weird without his beard, I'm used to see him with a beard; His acting here was good, but nothing special. The rest of the -small- cast was OK too. The story is quite interesting; it keeps you interested in it the whole time, but the disappointing part about this film was the ending. I was expecting something better, but those last minutes where some kind of twist happened weren't so good. With a better ending I'd have rate the film a bit higher, but that ending made me think the whole film was a waste of time. It's not that bad, but I wouldn't quite recommend it.
