Darren (Jason Biggs), and his two strange friends have sworn that nothing should come between their friendship, until one day Darren meet Judith (Amanda Peet). He falls in love with her beauty, and she quickly discover how weak he really is. She exploid this to the fullest by making him her little puppet, that obeys her every demand.
She disallow Darren to meet his two friends, but his friends is tired of this woman and her influence on Darren. They decide to kidnapp Judith and stage a death, and try to hook Darren up with an old lost could-have-been girlfriend (which is training to be a non) after he finds out about the death of Judith. However, everything doesn’t quite goes as planned (big surprise).
Jason Biggs appears in another comedy at the likes of American Pie, Boys & Girls and Loser. I start to wonder if Biggs is afraid of doing anything else but teenage comedies based on sex, love & drugs. If we lay all this aside, and focus at the movie at hand, you’ll find a crazy and actually hilarious movie. It’s directed by Dennis Dugan which previously has made comedies as Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy and Problem Child. Then you can get a picture of what type of humor to expect. It’s predictable as these movies are, and there isn’t much great stuff to say about this movie, except that it will give you laugh after laugh if you like the humor.
Amanda Peet stars as the evil woman Judith, and plays her role perfect (it isn’t very hard though). Amanda is a new growing star that has appeared previously in movies like; The Whole Nine Yards, Whipped and Takedown. This movie is solely for teenagers, as most “adults” will not enjoy the type of toilet humor this movie presents. Because if you don’t like the humor, you will probably think it’s the worst film you’ve ever seen.
