A reporter, Veronica (Ally Walker) finds out about this and wants to get a piece of the story, but she is discovered and one of the soldiers kills her cameraman. After this Veronica tries to escape, and she gets help from Luc, who was having flashbacks of his old life and at this point is the only soldier who sees a difference between right and wrong. But the army can't allow this, so they, along with the soldiers, start chasing Luc and Veronica. The real problems start when the soldiers kill the army people and takeover the high-technology truck they were being transported in. Scott becomes the leader of those soldiers, he already had an encounter with Luc in Vietnam.
This movie has the required elements to make a good action flick, a good story, good action and what we all expect in Van Damme films: some cool fight scenes. Everybody knows you can't expect great performances from actors like Van Damme or Lundgren, but this film was perfect for them, because the characters were actually supossed to show no feelings at all, and have the same facial expression all the time. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I hate these 2 actors, but lets face reality: they are no drama actors, they act just because they can kick some ass. Although there is some violence in the film, it never gets too gory, you don't see much blood, except a few scenes, but nothing gross. This is a very entertaining film which I would only recommend to people who enjoy action flicks.
