After watching this film, one of the many unanswered questions left in my mind was "What in the holy f*** did I just watch?". I don't think I'll ever find the right answer to this, as I very much doubt there even is one.
It's a boring night and you decide to rent some flicks. You see that Kevin Smith, the man behind a few decent and unique films, produced (and acted a bit) in a movie titled "Vulgar". Well, after reading the back of the case, it didn't sound too awful so you decide to take it home. Big, big mistake. "Vulgar" is by far the worst film I've seen in several years.
This huge piece of human excrement deals about a guy who barely makes money to pay the rent (and at a very sh**ty place), because he works as a clown at kid's parties, and apparently things aren't just going to swell, even though he puts effort into it. One day, he accidentaly does something that could become the 'big break' for him, as people want to cast him for a TV show, where he'll be what he likes to be, Flappy the clown. Well, in the middle of all this, there is also one or two things you might wanna take into consideration... like homesexual rape, gay people talking about raping other people, also talking about other stuff of that kind, forcing others to say dirty things while taping them, etc. Oh, and this is done by a father and his two idiotic sons.
This film is simply horrible, disgusting. I have no idea of why would anyone on earth want to actually release this crap. I've actually taken the time to read one or two other comments about this films, and mose people seem to agree with me: This is just awful. Every copy of this film should be burned. Almost one hundred minutes of my life that I will never get back. I'v always said I'm open minded when it comes to films, I always think of them as situations that could actually happen in real life, I take them very seriously, and maybe that's why I like most of the films I watch; I find it hard to tell someone "don't watch that film", because I never fail to consider the possibility of that person actually enjoying certain film that I didn't really like; But in this case, in "Vulgar"'s case, I will say it out loud: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You might wanna mail a copy of this to your worst enemy, but be aware, he/she'll hunt you down for the rest of his/her life!
